Bridging Generations: Youth and Legacy in Multilateralism will feature a high-level intergenerational dialogue on the evolution of global governance and the essential role of youth.


The event will bring together youth leaders/activists from diverse regions and a distinguished EU and UN officials. This event offers a timely and symbolic opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the United Nations while investing in its future through inclusive dialogue and diplomacy focusing on participation of youth. It aims to inspire and strengthen multilateralism by bridging generations.

As we observe the 80th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter , this exhibit recalls the enduring relevance of this historic document, while inviting visitors to again embrace the ideals that united humanity during the creation of the United Nations. The exhibition is organized and endorsed by the Office of the President of the General Assembly. It is in connection with the 80th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter (26 June). For the first time since 2011, The original UN Charter is back on display at United Nations Headquarters in New York, This historic document, signed in 1945, is the foundation of the United Nations and a symbol of international cooperation.
